1. Controller
Grupo Ruli, S.A.S. de C.V., El Salvador, is responsible for the data collected on ruli.app. Privacy contact: capital@ruli.app.
2. What we collect
Only what you type into our forms. Waitlist: name, WhatsApp number, department or country, categories of interest and, where relevant, equipment type, number of units or professional role. Investors: name, email and, if you provide it, fund or company. We also record the page the form was sent from, the site language and the date and time of submission. We do not ask for ID documents, payment data or sensitive data.
3. Technical data
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the page, such as IP address, browser and request logs. This site uses no analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
4. Why we use it
To tell you about the launch and contact you about Ruli by WhatsApp or email; to answer investor requests and send the material requested; and to understand demand by category and area. We do not sell or rent your data or use it for third-party advertising.
5. Basis
Your consent, given by submitting the form (and, on the waitlist, by ticking the checkbox), and our interest in answering the request you make. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
6. How it is processed
Each submission is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our server on Vercel, which emails it via Resend to the Ruli team inbox (Google Workspace accounts) and logs it in a Google Sheets spreadsheet with access restricted to the team.
7. Providers and transfers
We use these providers, acting on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Google LLC (Google Workspace and Google Sheets). They are located mainly in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside El Salvador. We will share data with authorities only where required by law.
8. Retention
We keep data while the waitlist or the investor conversation exists, or until you ask us to delete it, and at most 24 months after launch if you do not sign up on the platform.
9. Your rights
Under El Salvador's Special Law on Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection (Ley Especial de Ciberseguridad y Protección de Datos Personales) and other applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent. If you live elsewhere (for example, the European Union or California), you may have equivalent rights, which we will honor the same way. Write to capital@ruli.app; we will respond within legal deadlines. You may also contact the competent authority.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections, restricted access keys and access limited to team members who need the information. No system is fully secure; if an incident affects your data, we will act as the law requires.
11. Minors
Our forms are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes
We may update this notice and will publish the current version, with its date, on this page.
